PD Days ROCK!!

What do you do on a PD Day?  Take the day off and make the most of it with your kids... What else!?!
Where do you go, you ask?  Why, JOYRIDE 150, of course!!

What a day!  You can't imagine a better place to ride your bike in the middle of winter (especially when it was -20 degrees C!) with a team of friends and athletes. That's right, some of the Hardwood DEVO squad made it down to test and hone our skills on stuff like Pump Tracks, Skinny Trials Sections, a Cross-Country course, the Street Park, Jumps, and of course, the Foam Pit!  A major "thanks" to Mark, Shannon and Scott for opening early to accommodate us fanatics from Simcoe!

Glenn reminded us that Simmer would call this day a "moment".  Couldn't be more true... Great friends, family, experience and fun.

Snow Day

Second week of programs and the day couldn't have been better!  Perfect temperatures and conditions for a little downhillin'...  Whether you were boarding or skiing, everyone appeared to be wearing a smile. Congratulations to Pam Disera for building and managing such a positive and successful destination.
















Gabe and Daze are doing awesome.  Skills are building quickly and solidly.  Kudos to Abbey who is leading the group well.   Gabe is looking natural and Daisy is looking so confident!

It is in the moments that we build our memories.



Both the good and bad, they are there to shape and guide us.  If we truly wish to build lasting memories we must always remember to be completely in our moments.  If we are absent or distracted, how else can we expect to live a rich life full of love and beauty?

Yeah, I can't believe it.  We finally decided to do this thing called 'blogging'...
Well, we thought since 2011 is here, what better time?  We are blessed to have our paths before us with such great family and friends.  Building lasting memories is this year's plan so we hope all our loved ones will join us in making 2011 one to remember!
